Introduction

The Rowenta X-Clean 10 is a versatile 2-in-1 cordless vacuum cleaner and washer designed to provide a complete, fast, and effortless cleaning experience for all types of hard floors. It vacuums and washes in a single pass, making it ideal for tiles, parquet, vinyl, and thin carpets. Its self-propelled Narwal roller and 180° flat design ensure thorough cleaning even in hard-to-reach areas.

2. Safety Instructions

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Do not immerse the appliance, battery, or charging base in water or other liquids.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
• Use only Rowenta recommended cleaning solutions. Do not use bleach, foaming agents, acids, greasy, or corrosive liquids.
• Do not use the appliance to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, or anything that is burning or smoking.
• Store the appliance indoors in a dry place.
• This appliance is for household use only.

4. Setup

1. Assembly: Attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum cleaner until it clicks into place.
2. Charging: Place the appliance on its charging base. Connect the charger to the base and plug it into a power outlet. The LED screen will indicate the charging status. Ensure the appliance is fully charged before first use (approximately 1 hour of autonomy).
3. Fill Water Tank: Locate the clean water tank. Fill it with clean water, and if desired, add a small amount of Rowenta-approved multi-purpose gentle cleaning solution. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
4. Install Dirty Water Tank: Ensure the dirty water tank is correctly installed and empty before starting.

5. Operating Instructions

The Rowenta X-Clean 10 is designed for intuitive and efficient cleaning.

5.1. Powering On and Modes

Press the power button to turn on the appliance. The intuitive LED screen will display the current mode and battery level. The appliance features a smart sensor that automatically detects the dirt level in real-time and adjusts suction power and water flow for optimized cleaning.

• Automatic Mode: The appliance intelligently adapts its power and water flow based on detected dirt.
• Suction Only Mode: For dry vacuuming. Note that the brush may still get slightly damp.
• Ultra Mode: For heavily soiled areas, providing maximum cleaning power.

5.2. Cleaning Performance

The X-Clean 10 vacuums and washes all hard floors simultaneously. Its self-propelled Narwal roller makes cleaning effortless, weighing only 0.8 kg in hand during operation. The 180° flat design allows it to easily reach under low furniture and into corners.

5.3. Battery Autonomy

The appliance offers up to 60 minutes of autonomy on a single charge, suitable for quick daily clean-ups or deep cleaning of larger areas.

5.4. Anti-Tangle Roller

The anti-tangle microfiber roller efficiently captures pet hair, long hair, and dust without getting blocked, ensuring smooth operation even on heavily used floors.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Rowenta X-Clean 10.

6.1. Automatic Cleaning and Drying

The appliance features an automatic two-step self-cleaning system:

1. Roller Self-Cleaning: The exclusive Narwal double rotation cleans the roller in depth, eliminating residues and stains effortlessly.
2. Automatic Drying at 65°C: A centrifugal drying cycle removes moisture from the brush, preventing bacteria formation and unpleasant odors. This ensures the appliance is always clean, dry, and ready for use.

6.2. Emptying and Cleaning Tanks

• Dirty Water Tank: The appliance separates liquid and solid dirt in the dirty water tank, making emptying easier. Empty the dirty water tank after each use.
• Clean Water Tank: Refill the clean water tank as needed during operation.

6.3. Roller Cleaning (Manual)

The roller should be cleaned manually once a week under the tap using dish soap and thorough rinsing.
